Update
At this time, power issues have been resolved and the maintenance has been progressing as planned. At this time, the onsite team estimates we will exceed our predicted maintenance window, but does not have a firm ETA.

We will continue to post updates as needed but do not expect any further disruptions to power at this time.

Update
The onsite team performing maintenance encountered an issue that led to a subset of machines in NYC2 being powered off. Users with Droplets on these machines would have experienced those Droplets powering off as well as been unable to power them on or perform other actions. Our team is actively investigating why this occurred to ensure it doesn't occur for the rest of the machines in the maintenance.

As our team works to restore power, users will see Droplets coming back online and be able to issue events normally.

We apologize for this disruption.

During the above window, work will be performed to replace redundant upstream electrical systems, in order to improve reliability in our NYC2 region.

Expected Impact:

We don't expect to see any downtime as power to hypervisors is redundant, however, in the very unlikely situation that we lose power to both the power supplies, we may experience downtime for a brief period.

We will update this page if that occurs with further details.
